兩件事

表面上，高官干預學術自由和校長非禮老師是兩件事，細心想想，兩件事有微妙的共通點，兩者引發的討論，反映了我們對教育工作者的期望。

這個期望，區區六字就能概括：「是其是，非其非」

• 昨天信報社論質疑，教院高層聲稱受壓，既然不是一朝一夕的事，何以當事人等了這麼久才開腔發難？
• 懷疑非禮案，有教師稱為保飯碗啞忍多年，叫人禁不住想，這樣忍得的老師如何教好學生做人道理？

有說事件一已經「政治化」（特區媒介最喜歡乜化物化，一化解千愁，到底甚麼是「政治化」，要等有心情再談），信報提出這樣的質疑，十分正路，但後者涉及非禮這些風化大事，懷疑受害人何以不及早揚聲的論調很容易被狠批為blaming the victims。

兩件事還有一個共通點，就是「受害人」很難舉證，換一個角度，「加害者」卻百辭莫辯，水洗唔清，這些爭坳，一般只會雙輸，沒有雙贏，就算最後有人勝出，都只會是慘勝。

我們大抵都希望自己做人有骨氣，但知易行難，大部份人都會原諒自己口是心非。而事情發生在教育界，大家卻會自動調高期望，認為當事人不應畏強權，要挺身而出，樹立榜樣。

這是苛求嗎？

我可以想像當局者的進退維谷，尤其在涉及「生存」這麼重要的事情上，多所顧慮，也是人之常情，問題是香港不是一個法治社會嗎？局長和校長真的可以為所欲為嗎？

福柯分析權力實在精闢：一個巴掌敲不響，權力要生效，還得要對象配合。

The power in the hierarchized surveillance of the discipline is not possessed as a thing, or transferred as a property; it functions like a piece of machinery.
